Postgraduate Qualitative Research Workshop

18–20 August 2026 · National University of Sāmoa, Apia · Live online across the Pacific

About this event

Three days of hands on qualitative methods for postgraduate researchers grounded in Pacific research approaches, from talanoa to community-led inquiry. Sessions are led by senior Pacific scholars and built around your own research questions, not abstract examples.

The workshop is open to postgraduate students and early-career researchers across the region. Attend in person in Apia, or join every session live online. Both streams share the same programme and mentoring.

What to expect

Hands-on sessions in Pacific research methods, from talanoa to data sovereignty.

One-on-one mentoring with senior researchers working in your field.
