Dr Betty Ofe-Grant is a Senior Lecturer in Management, Technology and Organisation at AUT University Business School, New Zealand. Of Samoan descent, her research focuses on HRM, organisational justice, Pacific peoples, Indigenous knowledge systems, glass ceilings, equity, and leadership.

Her recent work examines institutional inequities, aged care and Pacific peoples, algorithmic bias, and the impacts of emerging technologies on Pacific communities. Betty is a former Vice President of the National Council of Women of New Zealand and has contributed to multiple boards and advisory groups supporting women, Pacific peoples, and elderly care initiatives.

She is a three-time winner of the Aotearoa Business and Economics Research Translation Award in the Pacific Researcher category (2023–2025), and winner of the Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) for Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga (2016). Her work contributes to research, policy, and practice across New Zealand and the wider Pacific region, with a strong emphasis on relational accountability, Pacific knowledge systems, and equitable futures. She is recognised for her ability to translate complex research into meaningful community and organisational impact.
