Professor Macquin Maino is Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources at the Papua New Guinea (PNG) University of Technology (PNGUoT), where he has served for more than 28 years. Prof. Maino is a member of the PNGUoT Academic Board, an affiliate member to the Australian Council of Deans of Agriculture, and former member to the Councils of PNGUoT and National Agricultural Research Institute
He was involved in formulating the National Agriculture Sector Plan 2024-2033 and has significantly contributed towards agricultural research, education, extension and policy developments in PNG
