Joining the Pacific Academy of Sciences


Fellows of the Pacific Academy of Sciences represents recognition of exceptional scholarly achievement and commitment to advancing knowledge for Pacific benefit. Our membership structure reflects our commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and regional representation


Foundation Fellows


The twelve inaugural members who established the Academy in 2024 hold permanent Fellowship status in recognition of their pioneering role. These distinguished scholars from across the Pacific region provide ongoing strategic leadership and set the standards for academic excellence within the Academy

Outstanding researchers and scholars elected through rigorous peer review processes. Elected Fellows are recognised for their sustained contributions to their fields, demonstrated impact on Pacific development, and commitment to the Academy's mission. Election as a Fellow represents the highest honour the Academy bestows on Pacific scholars
