Fellowship of the Royal Society Te Apārangi is an honour proposed by one’s peers and conferred for Distinction in research, or the outcomes resulting from intellectual endeavour (Advancement).
To submit a nomination for a Fellow (or Honorary Fellow), please email the Royal Society Te Apārangi (academy@royalsociety.org.nz) to receive a URL to access the online portal. View details of the nomination process and requirements.
As set out in their Strategic Plan, the Society embraces diversity in all they do. Applications from under-represented groups such as Māori, Pacific peoples, women, and earlier-career researchers are encouraged.
The deadline for nominations is 30 June 2026.
