Tupaia Research Grants
"Empowering Pacific Early Career Researchers"
Tupaia Research Grants are intended to empower Pacific ECRs to progress their academic careers while making meaningful contributions to their communities and broader region.
A Tupaia Researcher will:
• Be of indigenous Pacific descent;
• Ordinarily reside in a Pacific Island country, including at the time of application; and
• Have completed their PhD within the past 10 years.
Tupaia Researchers:
• Undertake robust and innovative research that aligns with one or more of the Academy’s priority research areas benefits the Pacific region
• Are committed to the purpose and values of the Academy;
• Are committed to active involvement in the Academy and the highest ethical standards of conduct.
