The Pacific Academy of Sciences has opened nominations for the 2026 PAS Fellows Round, running from 1–31 July 2026. The Fellows Round recognises outstanding Pacific scholars across all disciplines, including the natural and social sciences, humanities, technology, and Indigenous knowledge systems, who contribute to the leadership and direction of the Academy. Nominators are reminded that all submissions must be received by 31 July 2026.
Nominators and prospective nominees are invited to submit applications that demonstrate excellence, impact, and leadership in their respective fields. The Academy encourages submissions from across the region to ensure a diverse and representative cohort of Fellows. With the closing date approaching, nominators are encouraged to begin preparing their materials early to ensure a complete and competitive submission.

A virtual information session was held on 25 June 2026 to support nominators in preparing strong and competitive submissions. The session recording is available below for those who were unable to attend.
